Location: Spain, Barcelona
Date: Septemver 2017
Status: Chief project architect in the consortium "Master's Plan & RBTA", workshop leader.
Workshop task: In working with our Spanish colleagues, we initially clearly divided the functions. In this case, the office of Ricardo Bofill was responsible for the" architectural "basis of the project, the imagery and artistic component of the project (author's, conceptual objects), we in turn took responsibility for the" urban planning " side of the project, landing and projecting the proposals of the Spaniards on the plane of the Moscow legislative and regulatory framework.
Since both of these components of such a large project (architectural and urban planning) must go hand in hand, we worked closely together throughout the work on the competition. One of the stages of interaction was a face-to-face meeting that gen and I went to.Director of the Master's plan company.
We productively discussed and coordinated key decisions on the project with the chief architect of the RBTA Bureau, which significantly accelerated the process of coming to a common denominator.
It was important for me to work out all the controversial points and optimize the solutions, so that on the one hand I would not lose the main idea of the concept from Ricardo Bofill, on the other hand - to have clear analytical and numerical advantages in the competition.
In the end, I think it was this integrated approach to developing the concept that led us to win the competition.
